Where to put guages?

Does anyone have pics of a pillar guage holder (especially a double) in a MK4 Astra? I've got two guages I want to fit somewhere but I'm not sure about using a pillar holder as I don't want it to stand out, especially if you are looking in through the windscreen. Something as discreet as possible if anyone has any suggestions.

I've seen a few pics of guages in the small shelf underneath the heater controls but I use this.

Not sure how two guages would look in single pods on the dash either (just next to the A pillar)

You could remove the ashtray and retro fit them there?

I had 3 gauges in the top DIN hole and the stereo in the bottom one, worked well and looked *almost* standard.
