Single Wiper Scuttle Panel

OK dokey, I have aquired a left hand drive long side scuttle panel, and wish to join it to my right hand drive long panel to make a single wiper panel.

So what is the recommended method? Is it just a case of very carefully cutting down the centre line of the hole on both and then fiber-glassing them together?

Yeh thats probably best.
Rather than fiberglass it your probably best trying to run a weld down it. then smoothing it.

MIG welding of plastic is possible now.

i dont know much about astras but why not just fill the hole in the orginal pannel with fiberglass
