    Question Sprayin Alloy's????

Basically i've got a set of 17'' alloy's comin an i was thinkin bout gettin them done black how can i achieve this

If i sprayed them by hand (ie Tins) an laquered them would it last

or Do i get them professionally sprayed @ a car bodyshop ??

or Get a wheel specialist 2 sort it

    thx in advance

    Would it last?
    No.
I have seen wheels professionally painted and lacquered and STILL the stuff comes off!
Best bet is to get them blasted back to the bare metal then powder coated, that'll last!

    as chameleon says.

powder coating is best for the wheels.

depends what you want from it.

white and 'matt' colours are fine.

but if you want fancy effects then you just need to take them to a wheel refurbishers and get them to do there stuff.

costs from £20-50 per wheel usually.

but remember, if youve got 'coloured' wheels, just think about all those stones, bits of gravel, grit that will hammer the wheels like *** if its a 'regular' use car, thats why the colours and paintings on wheels tend not to last very long.

I seem to remember they powder coat bike frames - that gives a tough finish, and thats on aluminium alloy.
