Your best bet is mail order stuff from the web, although it depends what your after. For little mods and trimming Halfords are ok if you don't mind having Ripspedd scrawled all over everything you buy, but for serious goodies, i.e. bodykits spoilers, splitters etc, mail order companies are your only real option.

www.ccmotorsport.com or .co.uk not sure which

    www.ra-design.co.uk

    www.autofashion.co.uk

    www.abstyling.co.uk

    www.spoilers.com

Some of these should be able to help you out. Also try the Demon Tweeks and Max Power web sites for ideas and pricing guides to various products.

    Alright Geezer.

I live near Burgess Hill so not a million miles from you.

Tuning shops round?? - your having a laugh. It's all mail order I'm afraid. Halfords/Ripspeed are fine for some proper tuning bits but imo they mostly deal with stick on tat (illuminated washer jets anyone???). Although I did buy a nice K&N rare oil breather filter from one in Crawley (got it for 1/2 price as the saturday boy couldn't find the the proper price).

Have a good click round the net and you'll find some good sources of stuff. Get the Demon Tweaks catalogues (road and race ones) so you can see what is about, although DT stuff can usually be bought cheaper elsewhere. Larkespeed aren't bad, Gavin at Wallace Performance is worth a call for proper modding stuff (not your stick on tat), and there are loads more out there.

Be warned though - you carn't pull some to&&er across the counter when mail ordering and they cock it up and muck you about (I'll be putting a post up here next week on my own recent experiance). I suggest you put a "anyone bought something from balh blah.." post up on MIG when you find a company if your not sure. Even some proffessional looking companies have left many people unimpressed on here so best to ask if your in any doubt.
