How would you describe the colour "Gun metal"

As title...

Looking at some alloys and the colour is gunmetal how would you describe it, is it like a dark grey or something?

Want a dark set of wheels what would be best out of gunmetal, hyperblack or gloss black. Car will eventually be black

also, it depends on what wheels you have...if you have something like momo's then they look bestestest in powder coat white on a black car

i have thought about the idea of contrasting colours, but now i want the dark horse sort of look. I have chrome wheels at the mo which would look good with black.

The wheels i like are RSS`s by Kei racing, just not sure on the colour. They also have the added bonus of being lightweight, which is what im afta, car will possibly have a carbon fibre bonnet aswell

if your interested in powder coating i know of someone who is good on price (depending on size of wheel)
