Plastic clips and lugs for MK3 door cards are....

    ......fookin' LITTER!!!

Passenger card comes off nicely and fits nicely.

Drivers side around the top won't clip back in properly giving poor fitment. Re-routed e/w e/m and C/L wires.....made bugger all difference.

Clips have broken now and one of the lugs won't hold the clip in. Got a bit savage with it last night!!!

they snap and they come off the cards. not very good really.

how can you be careful when youve got to rag the thing off?

Think they were designed by the 'Ministry of Crap design' Saying that, I was pretty carefull and gentle when removing. Just a poo design.

Then again, they are better than the tat which can't really be called door cards on my old MK2. The clips are held in the backing which is made of shitty fibre board. Of course breakage was inevitable. So much so that when you shut the door the bottom would flap around.

You know my new opinion on MK2 interiors!

"what do you want to be when you grow up?"
    "a vauxhall interior trim designer"
Do you want to install and run "Adobe Flash Player 9"?

Had the same problem with mine and broke the bit where the clip slides into the door card. Now the clip doesn't stay on and the passangers door card vibrates at certain engine rev's. Very annoying!!!
Smile! Be happy and enjoy it.... :)

    LOL @ Tom!!!

Bruce, the same mate, but luckily mine doesn't vibrate, just doesn't fit as ficely as I want it to. But hey, that's the price you pay when wanting better speakers!

Some double sided carpet tape is what you want. £3 from B&Q. I use it to hold my number plates on.

Trouble is, the MK3 ones are made of ridgid plastic with vertually no surface area making contact with the door frame.

I know, I'll rip all my interior out and burn it. Seems a good idea hey Tom!

Tensol? Well, I won't glue the door cards on as I may want to take em off again. But I may glue the clips in place.

clips arent all that expensive from Vauxhall, just to let you know, rather than spending money on glue and time etc... then finding out that its only a couple of pence each...

its not that thats the problem olly - its the bits that hold the clips to the cards that break off
