    8V Badges - Story so far

    Was thinking of getting some of the 8V ones from Tom but didnt really want transfers so Ive decided to have a go myself.

    Got some GSi16V badges and am modding them.
    First cut off the GSi and 1 which leaves 6V. Then file/sand down the red paint off part of the 6.

    Makes this;

    Need to get hold of a dremel, and then should look like this;

    Just then gotta get some touch up paint and attach it to SRi badge and then done. Fingers crossed.

    End product should end up something like this;

    8V badge whether under the SRi or beside it.
    Badges going on rear panel.

    May also consider a chrome SRi badge, but need a good pic of one...anyway have one?

    Ive always planned to have the SRi and an 8V badge on the rear panel.

    Was thinking of removing the rear Vaux griffin, but am contemplating whether to keep it at mo.

    lmao @ Lee

    I have been thinking of chrome badges and Phil keeps pestering me to do it, but with a flame red car and no other chrome parts, may look a little "odd" on the rear black panel.

    Who made this SRi badge then, just outta interest ?

    This is what it looked liked earlier this afternoon;

    Ive now cut off the excess plastic where the 1 is and smoothed edges. Gonna stick it on to tailgate tommorow along with SRi badge.
