Thumbs up Meshed my Mk 3 grill today

I plucked up courage and took the grill to bits lastnight and then tried to figure out how to put it back together, after a lot of cutting and messing around it all fitted together ok. Then today i hotwelded all the plastic joints back together with the mesh inplace and then used mastic to stop it from vibrating. Its now back on the car and i think it looks OK.
I have pics but dnt know how to post em , so if u want to see i will e-mail em to ya

nice! ive got some of that mesh aswell (not on my car tho)

not too keen on the eyebrows. makes the car look a bit "lazy" thats the only way i can describe it i think

yeah splitter is wider, but aint a prob as cut in the middle and joined and about 30 self tappers keep it in place, as for fog does your bumper have the markings to cut out for fogs ? mine where std

yeah cut in 2 places so that the two vent thingies sit under the fogs, as for wires i dont think so but i may be wrong, but im sure you could get that from breakers and put straight to switch

yeah i got an ellecy sunroof, but my surround is from a senator, er....fitted no probs but had to trim slightly some of the roof lining away to make it sit a bit better, although your looks 100 times smarter, mines like a square shape

Brake-Buster that looks really nice I was thinking of doing that to mine with a tight fine black diagnol mesh. Was it easy to do? How long did it take?

    Cheers

    Looking good.

    Thumbs up

    Olly
i got the best of both worlds, the headlight brows are only held in with velcro on top of the headlights so i can alter them at my leasure. and they cant be removed ( easily ) with the bonnet down
