    Thumbs up Mesh night.

Well I spent all night fitting mesh to my front bumper. I've noticed that about 50% of meshed Astras have the mesh falling out so I made a big effort to make it a permanent job. Which mean drilling tiny holes in the plastic, tapping them out with a self tapping screw and then cutting the screws short so that they didn't crack the plastic. It took bloody ages and was fiddly diddly. Worth the effort I think because the mesh looks nice. It was ME8 Stainless Mesh from Damon Twits.

I had just enough mesh left over to do the fog light holes. I'll post a daylight picture tonight after I've fitted the head lamp washer jets.

How much was the mesh Tom if you don't mind me asking.

Looking good mate, hope to see you at POD.

You will see my Mk2 Astra 5 door, it has touring car style graphics with my name on in the rear windows !!!

It's style ME8 from Demon Tweaks. It costs £15, but by the time you've added in postage and VAT it comes to £20.
I'm well pleased with it though, it's 3D honeycomb style and it's got enough density to hide things. So that vertical support behind the grille doesn't show up too much.
