Ive got a 1994 astra that i want to put 205/40/17 wheels on, so does anyone know the maximum i can drop the suspension and what archwork i would have to have done?
the car is originally a 1.4 but its going to be havin a 2.0 put in it soon.
This is dropped 60 mm with same size tyres as your after **** pic i know give you general idea needs cleaning aswell if any one gets bored looooooooooool http://img404.imageshack.us/img404/2451/carrz0.png
From that pic it looks like you shouldnt need to do any archwork, the key is in getting the right offset rims (or use spacers to lower the offset), i dont know the proper offset for the astra so perhaps someone else will help out on that !
your right no arch work but not sure what the offset is dont like speed ramps though
