find out what pcd,and offset they are,to see if they'll even fit the hub,
#3

Mar 22, 2007
even if the pcd is correct dont you have to see if the bore is big enough to go onto the hub???

they are pcd 108 thats the problem!
iv read some where that they can weld up the holes and re drill them but could that lose the structural integrity making it unsafe?
also what do u guys reckon to gti wheels on a corsa?

would give it a proper rally slag look with mudflaps and hardcore slammage
i dont think they weld the origonal holes up, they machine new holes in-between the origonal
(i think)

peugeot wheels are 4 x 108 et 13 - 18 and a bore size of 65.1
corsa wheels are 4 x 100 et 45 - 49 and a bore size of 56.6
so i could use a 8.5 mm spigt ring but id need 31mm spacers?
is that right?

what would go wrong with that much spacing?
at a guess, greased up poo poo like handling and like benn said, you will need shares with your local tyre place

they'd be touching the shocks and inner arches all over the place,

erm, doesnt it go t'other way? Ie would be more outer arch contact?
I reckon it could be cool. Get some Japanese styleeee screw on arches, get some adaptor plates. Cut the arches up to make em fit. loverly.

the et confuses me!
can n e one explain it to me ? in guesses the higher the et is the further out the wheel sticks?
#22
·
Mar 22, 2007
yeah,
the higher the closer in they sit, the lower the father out...
well just about..
got to say...finding other wheels would be easyer..
#23
·
Mar 22, 2007
Thats the thing. depending on positive and negative et etc etc. Some people quote it one way, others quote it t'other way.
The way I know it as, the lower the number, the further it sticks out.

i think iv managed to pick the worst wheels to fit!
i love speedlines but bugger me if im gonna pay £700 for a set i could get the gti wheels for free you see!
so would et 18 stick out to far or sit in the arch to much?
and im guessin that much spacing jus aint a good idea?

yeah sorry wasnt thinking right mr k,
dont go speedlines every one has them,
18s would rub a lot,
nice set of 15/16"s and have it nice and low..
