    urgent help

went to order new wheels today and problems stopped me.I was going for a 18*7.5 inch rim with 215/35 tyres. After he phoning around i was told that only BK rims were available with the correct offset and PCD. I think the PCD is 5 stud at 110mm and have been lead to believe the offset is 49mm. The only option the guy could offer me was to roll the arches and go for and 8 wide inch rim and go for a 225*35 tyre. Does anyone know of 7.5 wide rims in correct offset and PCD? If not what are the risks and costs of having rims rolled? Does anyone up here in Scotland know who is good for rolling arches? It was skidz i was talking to and they knew a guy, from Shotts to do the job if required.

Surely you would be ok with a 45mm offset?

On corsas with 18"s closest used was ET45, i have ET45 17"s on mine

is the point of keeping correct offsets not to upset the handling?

    within reason.

if you had changed the wheels on your car from et49, to et45, and then maybe even et42 I doubt very much whether you would notice any difference.
