Just bought a set of clear / smoked tail lights for the corsa, but i don't have any coloured bulbs  anyone got any idea where to buy them from for cheap? LED ones look a bit pricey for now so just the normal bulbs preferably, unless someone can source me some LED units for dirt cheap?
I can get orange ones from the garage my bro works at as they stock them, but IIRC halfords were charging something stupid for them and when i went into motorworld i couldn't see any. What's a decent price to pay for coloured bulbs? also do i need twin filament or single  are the twin filaments the ones that come on brighter when you hit the brakes or are they just brighter all the time? sorry to sound like an idiot but i don't have a clue when it comes to this lmao
Get LED's mate, a lot more vivid colours, should last longer, uses less power and colour wont after time. Plus when your bulbs are off it will look clear rather then a slight red tint or orange tint from the bulb glass.
Go for LED's mate. My other half has had those lights in both her previous Corsa and her current Corsa Sport. On her previous car i used red bulbs and even when new they gave a pinky glow. On her new one i used LED's and these now give out a pure red glow, yeah the light is a bit concentrated, but they look 10x better.
I also have them in my Astra as they keep the clear look in the clear sections as apposed to a red or orange bulb ruining the look.
Yeah LED's are more expensive, but they are worth it plus LED's are said to never run out unlike conventional bulbs.
ive got the same lights as you mate.here is what i did with mine.leds are the futer.ive seen em lmao
the top red ones are the brake lights.
They look better at night tho .i really really need a new number plate.im thinking of getting rid of the number plate light in the bumper in favour of some white leds flush into the bumper.what you guys think?
^^^ i like the indicators you've got there mate, where did you get them from? Have you ever had problems with the fuzz for the lights, seeing as they're not e-marked?
i made them myself using some circuit board from maplin.its got lots of little holes in so you can just position the leds in any shape you want.
Ive never had any problems with police, ive even been pulled over for other things and they havnt mentioned them. They passed the mot last week aswell, they are actually brighter and more reliable then normal bulbs.
Don't use the painted bulbs, i had them in my nova (quad conversions rear lights with clear lenses) and they lasted a few weeks a set before the paint burned off and the police REALLY liked letting me know when they had gone pink
