r8 ive bought some plastic primer paint and lacquer from a car parts place will this be good enough to paint my xbox 360 shell ive asked before but got no info back
does this sound the right process rub them down well,(800grit wet and dry..wet)
clean well,
plastic primer them,few good covering coats,
let fully dry,
gently flat the primer so its smooth(again wet 800)
let dry then re clean,
then paint
Clean it before sanding it aswell, but that's basically all there is to it. when sanding, you want to try and get it so there's no "shine" visible.
If you'r using aerosol cans, stand them in a bowl of hot water for a while before hand. I've found it helps the paint flow better, and the nozzle doesn't clog as easily.
You can also get a great trigger for cans that really usefull
saves your finger and makes it easier to aim/spray.
really depends on the plastic, and how hard it is. to just take off the shine, you don't want anything too coarse, and don't press too hard, let the paper do most of the work. Try a bit and see how it goes.
add a little washing up liquid to the water you use, it helps stop the paper from clogging quickly.
hit a wall already went to get the screws out of the control only to find they are security torx screws and ive only got normal security torx drivers so iam fooked lol
They the ones with hole in the centre? If so, go to Motor World or somewhere like that, you can get a Draper set quite cheap, and they do allsorts such as Dysons, and other cruddy household deviceslmao
you cole go one better and then colour sand it an d laquer it to match the piano black of the ps3!
