the best thing to do is get a mkII dash and it will fit a treat. i think u may need to take the dash out if it is a mkI. I had 1 in my F reg GTE and i got the mkII dash, cos the mk1 was too butchered trying to make the thing fit lmao lmao

Yeah, I've just tried to get a digi dash into a Mk1 dash and coulnd't get it to fit properly (after many hours of cutting and swearing). I managed to bodge it in but I am going to fit a Mk2 dash now.

it can b done tho, but i think u have to fit the clocks from the rear when you have the mkI dash out. I think ur better fitting the mkII dash as its easier to fit the clocks and also i think it looks better anyway

I think it's probably less hassle to just fit the whole of the mk2 dash (more expensive though). Just make sure you buy everything that you need.
A couple of sites I found useful were http://www.perpetualbliss.net/mods-page.htm
    and http://homepage.ntlworld.com/ben.cop...ods%20Page.htm

    Good luck.
