    Milky spray paint problem.

I've sprayed all the bumper bits dark Grey with no trouble. I've also done the sideskirts, but there are a few milky patches:

I reckon it's contamination of some sort.
What's the chances that it'll be sorted if I spray over it again tonight after cleaning it with bumper cleaner first?

Paint goes milky mate when temperature is too low......

Try heating them with hair dryer after spraying them?

Slim i would think, safer just to rub it down and do them again. Know that sounds like a ball ache but if your doing the rest of the car proper why stop now??

It might be that youve painted them in the cold, my centre console did the same. Do it in a really warm place and see if that makes a difference.

I managed to spray out most of it last night. I'm going to have a last ditch attempt tonight on a test patch.

If it does it again - let it dry then try using T-cut on it lightly..... should remove the milky bit and give you a good shine - but depends how milky it is and how heavy the paint coats are....

    Yes Ive done this before....

That picture shows it at its worst. It did look like contamination to me mind - there were one or two spots.
If spraying over doesn't work, what about putting some more primer on the troubled patches? Isn't primer thicker than paint?

Well this is the first time I've had any problem with spraying.
    The other bits are fine.
