    Question Interior Styling

    Quick question:

Do astra mk2 and astra mk3 have the same handbrake handles, coz I wanna buy an aftermarket one and they don't have a mk3 but sell mk2...so will the mk2 one fit on a mk3??

Also, will an aftermarket gear lever surround for a mk2 fit a mk3??

    Thanks

    Neil,

The actual handbrake lever is the same for both but some were fitted with different trim. Some of the later MK2's from GL upwards had the more chunky cav trim with the bit of fake leather going around it, the same design as all MK3's. The earlier Mk2's just had just a nasty peice of 70's look finger embossed plastic with a bare lever. These can actually be ripped off and interchanged with the newer ones. I fitted one on MK2 cabrio.

    Hope this helps.

So basically speaking, if I went and bought a Conrero handbrake sleeve and gear lever surround for the mk2 astra, they'll both fit on my mk3 without any probs??
