    Real simple question

This is a really easy question, so please excuse my ignorance.

How exactly do you remove the rear bumper from a Mk3 Cavalier?

I got rear ended by a myopic Micra driver who didn't realise that she had to stop when the rest of us did, so I'm off round the scrappy tomorrow and I'd like to be prepared.

Open the boot and look at the back of the boot (nearest to you).
You should see 2 triangular plates along there somewhere coming out into the boot.
THere should be a nut on each one which holds the rear bumper on.
Probably a 19mm spanner or socket to get these off but don't quote me on that.

And I think the sides of the rear bumper just slide into clips on the panel behind the bumper on both sides.

Never done it but thats what I think.. And I'm sure I'm right.
    I have become comfortably numb....

Thanks very much. Found one, but I don't know the condition or if it's still attached.

Thats the correct way of getting them off.... just bear in mind that the clips can be easy peasy to remove (my cav was) or a pain the arse (1hr! on a mates SRi)

Hope that helps.... rest is easy
