I worked it out for myself, get a mirror & take some measurements, work out how much you think you can remove......

What more info do you need? lol

Just get a pair of mirrors.
    Remove the glass.
Cut out the required amount of plastic.

Plastic weld the halves back together.
    Skim a filler to smooth.
    Prime, Spray.
Have a glass/mirror place cut you two pieces of mirror glass in the new size.

Most of that is true, but I didnt do any plastic welding. Most of it is just understanding what you can & cant achieve with the skills you have. The main issue is where the thickness of the casing (black outer) varies & thins towards the outer edge of the mirror. Chopping a lump out of the middle means the 2 thicknesses dont mate back up.

And put it this way, if there was a How-to guide they wouldn't be as cool as everyone would make a pair,Lol.

Thats the issue. I spent about 5 months of lunchtimes at work figuring out & doing mine. I'd do it differently next time anyway.

I wouldnt rip anyone off by charging to make a set but I reckon £70 is fair & I would supply the donor mirrors seeing as I have a few sets now.

First time I ever really looked at the std mirrors on my mates car I thought they should be shortened & then the Fearless ones came about on acouple of the North West Novas & I got beaten to it.

the Fearless ones are smaller than mine.

I went as small as I could IMO & tbh they are next to useless. Need concaved glass.

They are original Fearless ones. But I agree, they look taller than they are wide & dont quite suit the lines of the car. I think mine look in proportion & I do know for sure that mine are still remote adjustable from the inside as std.

Its only the drivers side one which has limited vision. More agressive concave curve needed on the lens.

Sadly non of my pics came out as back then I was using a regular film camera & most of the mirror pics had 'quality control' stickers on.
