will 17z fit on to my mates corsa c without any problems? if so what would people Recommend depth and width wise?

hi and welcome to mig...fitting is a matter of PCD, offset, tyre size and how low your car is

PCD should be = 4x100
offset should be = between ET38-ET49
size = dont think it will be smart to go more than 7J wide
tyre size = 205/40/17 i think
lowering a car = well that depends on how much you have lowered you car or if your planning to in the future

if you wanna pay a bit more for tires pirelli do a 195/40/1 and it helps move the side walls away from the archs but they are 120 each i had them on my nova and it stopped it rubbing, then i grew up a tiny bit and got 15's
