How do you mesh a Cav GSi grille?

I've looked and thought abouth it but I cant figure how you put mesh in without effing up the plastic clips that holds the grille to the car?

Surely if I start cutting this out I wont be able to put it back on?

    Any ideas?

    Regards

you need to seperate them and trap the mesh in between.

Separate what? The plastic mesh or the clips from the mesh?

I got one here i think might get meshed, i think what u have to do is, separate the black slats and bits from the main couloured surrounding, and then the black slat bit which you have taken out, snip em out, so u end up with a black frame,

get your mesh, and the coloured bit mould mesh around the inside, use no nails stuff, or silicone sealent, then re-atach the black bit, which has the slats cut out, so that way you end up with all the fixings too.

Duno if this is the way, because i havent tried it yet, might just spray the slats black.

How easy is it to do? I'd like to do mine... I'm sure I could do it without too much problem, but the more info i can get the better!
