problem wiv my bk drivers side arch n 17s

hi im new here so hope u guys can help me out ive got 215/40/17s on my 1.3sr g reg nova all the other wheels went on sweet apart from the drivers side rear arch which is well close to the tyre it scrubs constantly any ideas can i flair my arches or remove some of the inner arch or is that a mot faliour

Where is it rubbing, is it on the outer arch?
If it is hammer the lip flat, dont grind to much of the lip off as the inner and outer arch will come apart.
If its not enough try pulling at the arch carefully to make it slightly wider.

ur 215/40's are a likely cause of the problem - you need 205/40's on a nova really

2 late mate the inner arch is already separated n its rubbin on that
ive already flared them enough to clear but the iners scrubbin on the tyre n i cant afford 205s yet! any ideas

sell the 215's and buy some 205's
Plenty of cav and cally owners on here run 215's inc me

ok good idea il put them on the f/s boards do u recon ne one would swap sum coz as i said im ****in skint i think my tyres r falkens just got my wheels today n was buzzin till i put the last one on!

Did you buy them new? Did the place you get them from say they would fit.
If they did take them back and ask for 205's

no i got the wheels off a mate so i cant do that good idea tho ive just posted them on the f/s board im willin to swap them for a shitter make as im not fussed bout he handlin really just need to have my wheels on asap gota send it in to a magazine! u know ne one interested????
