Corsa wheels

Alrite boyz, question on ofset and scrubbing on Corsa. I'm running a corsa on standard suspension and 7x16" wheels which are a mk2 golf ofset which i think is ET42. They scrub on the back very slightly over large bumps which i can live with. I've just bought a set of Apex 40mm springs for the car which i intend to fit when the car comes back from being resprayed-the bloke doing the job is pulling the inner metal lip (behind the plastic arch) out to hopefully prevent any more scrubbing. Can any of you lot forsee any other problems?

42mm offset is ur problem - what tyres u running?

I have a Corsa running Et45 16" and lowered a good 40-50mm and they scrub slightly on large bumps, with no mods to the plastic arches or anything - so can't see any real probs if your having the arches rolled or whatever.

I also used to have a MK3 Astra with 18"s ET40!!!! I only had to trim the lip off the rear arch to sort scrubbing out which was only on bad bumps anyway.

A bit of scrubbin is worth it if it looks the dogs b******S anyway

My Corsa has Et48 17*7" alloys lowered 40mm.

All I had to do was de bolt the 2 bolts at the top of the rear arches.


Vaux offset is Et49, so Et42 on standard suspension should not scrub at all.
