    17's on a 98 Vectra B.

Hey looking for a bit of reliable advice on this as the ppl i have been trying to talk to about this don't seem to have a clue.

Recently lowered my 1.6 16v 98 Vec by 40mm on Gmax Super sport shocks and springs and car sits and handles very nicely, however, if i really push it into a bend the wheels can rub off the arches (at front). Car currently has standard vaux alloys on it with 195/65 tyres, i'm looking to put 17's on, but obviously looking for less or no rubbing and wondered what the best tyres would be to put on. Oh, and looking for the offset.

    Cheers
    Nath

More than likely the baloon tyres causing them to rub.
17"s with the correct 49mm offset and 205/40 tyres shouldnt rub.
