Found pannels that rattle in my nova and Cavalier but they are well over 15 years old so its expected.

For rattly pannels new clips and maybe some thin layers of sponge or foam help to quieten things down. As for seats get a new one mate.

My bros Cav SRi driver seat does my head in squeaks every which way possible. Deffo a new seat in this case or a refurb.

I've been lucky on the squeak/rattle front with all the Vauxhalls I've driven. Had no problems at all. Even my Nova on extra hard suspension with solid engine mounts with it's Mk1 dash doesn't seem to rattle! However, I'm using a Calibra as my daily driver at the mo. It doesn't rattle, but every now and again there'll be an almighty crack from behind the dash somewhere. It's almost like a piece of brittle plastic giving way under pressure. Made me jump once or twice. When you're parked up and someone 3 cars away from you asks "what the f*ck was that?" just after it goes off, you know you've got problems lmao

Same with my MK1 dash now that everything has been tightened and clip replaced.
