One of my split rims has unsealed itself and as a result air from the tyre is leaking through the middle section of the split rim. Does anyone know any good wheel refurbishers in the North West who can rebuild the wheel?

erm...you could try http://www.lepsons.com/
Signature not as cool as Paul's
Thanks, its a bit far but ill keep their no.
Very slim chance of getting hold of him but you could try pming simonp, he had some done for his 300zx and they came out shexy as funk. Was somewhere up north the guy that did them too.
When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car.
It was the guy from this site that did Simons wheels:

^^ what he said. Can't recommend them/him highly enough. Wasn't concerned with the distance, but more, the quality of job.
These are mine and what he did to them.... (incidently, mine are 3 peice, Advan weld their inner and outter lips together, less chance of leakage).

Agree with Tathan, Awesome looking rims. Are they for the Z?
Out of curiousity how expensive was that Simon?
Any pics of thw wheels before they were refurbed.
Glad you like them chaps. Yeah, they are on the Z. I've had them on the car for about 9 months now (the car is a garage Queen now and only comes out in the summer on dry days, I've just shelled out a load to have a full respray, in the original pearl white due to a few paint blemishes on the old paint and the addition of a 99-spec rear spoiler). I had some RAYS Engineering wheels on before, but fancied something with a slightly more agressive looking dish. The rears are 9.5" wide and the fronts are 8.5".
I managed to get hold of them for nothing. Not bad for wheels that cost about £750 per rim. They had minor kurbing damage and had been sat on an RX7 for a year by a sea wall. Suprisingly, due to the quality of the metal, there was zero corrosion, they were just cloudy and need the curbing corrected.
Just a test patch....
