8v badges - getting them made soon.

OK, you might be aware that I've been rambling on about having some 8v badges made for months now.

    In the beginning was:

So I applied some Photoshop action to make:

Then I worked on it a bit with the help of a MIG poll or two.

I'm having some samples made up at the moment. They'll look a bit like this:

They're CNC Red transfer on Silver backing. Will take some photos when I pick up samples tonight.

I remember a few people saying that they fancied some. I'll get some idea of the price later today.

The front one is 28mm high, the rear one is 21mm. So I'm having some 28mm ones made, will try it out with a GTE badge to see if it looks OK. If not I'm having some 21mm ones made for the back.

Here's some samples. They are different shades of Red.
The dark Red is a single layer, the light Red is White followed by Red. It does look better. However, very close up, it is apparent that the White is not 100% aligned with the Red. I'll judge them up against my car tommorrow morning.

    Price - £2.00 each + p&p

I will be having two sizes made. 21mm height for the rear and 28mm height for the front.

Isn't your SRi the same colour as my GTE Lee? Flame Red? Because those photos might be deceiving you colour wise. I think no 3 down looks most close. It's certainly what I'm going for.

Tom, can you put me down for a couple please, one for the front and one for the back, my car is white though, so colour for me would be the one closest to the original 16v stickers if that helps! If not, whatever you think chap!

    OK sorted now.

I'm ready to take orders now.
    There are two recommended sizes:
28mm match the front 16v sticker on Astra GTE
21mm match the rear 16v sticker on Astra GTE

If the car is Red then I recommend going for Silver outline. This comes on backing paper so you just peel off one layer, stick to car and then peel off the top layer. The Red is made by the Red paint showing through.

If the car isn't Red than I recommend getting Red stickers. These are Silver backing with Red infill.

If you want to order then post your requirements here. They're £2 each for all styles.

I can bring them to pod or post them for a small fee.

    So:

There are four types on offer:
    28mm Silver
    21mm Silver
    28mm Red
    21mm Red

    Order list:
    Tom Stickland: 1 x 28mm Silver, 3 x 21mm Silver, will collect , cheque's in post Tom!

    paste and add
