    sound proofing on the roof (nova)

    i removed my roof lining the other day and now whats p+ssing me off is the stupid sound proofing i have pulled all the big bits off but where the glue is it takes ages and hurts my fingers doing it
    is there an easyier way to remove the glue??!!!

    At work we use gasket remover to get padding off the inside of the vehicles, i think its called loctite 7020 . just spray some gasket remover on leave for a couple of minutes and scrape off. only problem is its caustic so a mask and gloves are an absolute must

    I used a blowlamp, followed by a coarse cloth soaked in cellulose thinners when I stripped my roof cloth/sound deadening off.
