    Smile Warning Noob Alert

    Hi All,

Proud owner of a Y reg Astra 1.8 CDX, love it to bits....

So i've decided to treat it, but, i'm an absolute beginner when it comes to modding.

I thought about first of all debadging her then perhaps going on to a simple body kit (front and back first of all then the side skirts if I can finance it!)

Anyone got any useful hints or tips about where to start and of any reputable places to get parts from?

Is it worth getting a Haynes manual?

    All information gratefully received

    welcome to the site dude,

yeh a haynes manual is a good start,as it will help with removing stuff as well as working on it,
and do you want a simple and nice looking kit? or jap style(we'll all hope not)

    www.tuning.co.uk do some nice stuff,
I'm louder than gods own revolver and twice as shiney.

pepe....yep, mk4, shame about the colour though, it's that greyish colour that most cars seem to be, am thinking of a respray if I can persuade the mrs!
