There are a 101 threads on this, mainly comparing them to the Goodyear Eagle F1's which are also excellent, but more expensive.

    Do a search chap.

In brief, they're about as good as the top line tyres (F1, RE020, ContiSport, PZero etc), but a lot cheaper.

i had a set of these on my old xe nova, found them to be really grippy tyres in the dry and not too bad in the wet! uniroyal rainsports are supposed to be a good chep alternative!

How is the wear rate on them?!

I have heard they are very soft and last about 8k miles?!

Got them on the astra and i think they're great. Wear rate seems good, but i don't do any track days etc, just regular commuting.

got mine from mytyres where IIRC tey were around £45.

I have had them on a Veccy GSI, Astra mk4 SRI, My current Corsa, and my astra (200+n/a bhp)

They have been great on all of the cars, and in all conditions. As for the wear rate, the corsa has done nearly 20k on them and I would say they are around half worn, this is the daily car, but has had pleanty of spirited use. The astra has eaten the fronts in about 6k but that is some very hard use, the rears are still the old t1-s' and have done about 15k, (both would still pass an MOT)

I also have a mate who uses them on his elise and loves them to.

    Hope this helps.

Same as everyone here, i have them on my coupe, very good but have worn a little quick on the front. worth it though.
