for the repairs on the back you will need new arch panels about £15 each and also some othe panels cant remeber what they are called for where the rust is under the bumper and basicaly replaces along the seams and goes up just over the bumper these are about £12 each. for one rear section with those two panels put in and sprayed you are looking at about £170 to £200 a side. as for the front bit i'm not sure

so what sort of price for the sill aswell....

It needs sills, arches, the rear bumper bits and that funny bit in the engine bay - possibly some inner sills and boot floor aswell

might just scrap it and bung the mechanicals in my mk3

I've just had the panels under the bumper replaced today!!! (Both sides)...£10 each and £20 for them welding on.

My bodywork is mint now...strange how my rear arches are perfect but these bits under the bumper were a bit of a mess

All I need now is a nice day to smooth and paint them...

Bits I replaced are outlined in the pic below.

    Hope that helps!!!
Oooh you don't wanna do it like that!!!

Can I just ask where you got the panels from?

I got the panels from a local panel shop called DT Panels (in Bradford)...

I know a bloke who runs small, local garage...he did the welding for me. Took him 3 hours, when I asked him how much do I owe ya? he said £15!!! so I gave him a 20...
