Probably a question mainly for Mr Rose but whats the best method for taking about 4 inches out of the centre of a bumper.

Also what tools and materials am i gonna need.

fibreglass or plastic?

either way, cut it down the middle

if it s not symmetrical then trim 2" off each 1/2

if it is, then just lop 4" off one side.

clamp the halves together and run a soldering iron down the cut, joining them temporarily.

now slash the inside with a knife, to give the glassfibre something to grip to.

layer shitloads of fibreglass on

filler the outside.
