gsi bumper

iv got a mk1 nova, novadose kit, want to put gsi kit on but dont want to give it a mk2 facelift.. can i do this?

Yeah, you can do that. There are quite a few Mk1 Novas with GSi bumpers around. Bumper will fit straight on. Not sure if you might have to do a bit of messing to get the grille to sit right though because the Mk1 bumper has a bit of a recess that the grille sits in. Won't be that hard to sort though (if it needs sorting at all)

IIRC
You will also need to change the bumper bar irons(that bolt the bar to the chassis)
and need to drill new holes in the wings for the side mounts as there in a different place on a mk1 than mk2.

I wouldn't tho, gsi bumper on a mk1 doesn't look right imo, gaps everywhere.
