How much should I expect the scrappie to charge?

I've got a nasty little dent on the back of my boot. The person that had the car before me got hit from behind from a 4x4 with bull-bars. The dent it made is slight, but very visable, and ive tried popping it back out, but its not possible, its more like a crease than a dent.

So ive come to the conclusion that its either experiment with filling, rubbing and spraying, or get another hatchback boot lid from the breakers.

Any advice on what to do?

How much would a breakers charge for a complete hatchback boot lid?

Would the cost of spraying it be staggering?

    Cheers,

    BigKingy.

i got a boot for my belmont for £5 from my local cheap scrappy and my other scrappy wanted £20. so i would guess if it's a cheap one you could get one for £10 or upto £30 for an expensive scrappy

    Thanks guys.

I got a quote for the complete tailgate for £40.

What sort of prices would i expect to get for spraying it.

The colour of my car is Vauxhall Nordic Blue, so not metallic.

    Cheers.

Bring it to ipswich and i'll paint it for you! Less than half the price! If it aint metallic you can do it with cans... and patience!

How far away is Ipswitch from NW London ?

Its not a metallic paint, i want it in Vauxhall Nordic Blue.

I suppose I could do it myself, might make a bit of a bodge job though

Ideally, what im after is an SXi tailgate with the SXi spoiler still attached.

The SXi tailgate would fit straight onto a standard astra wouldn't it?
