Wind Deflector Fitting?? Confusion raining down from above...

I got a free pair of Vauxhall wind deflectors from a friend who had an astra an had them fitted on his for a while a few years back.

He no longer has car an found them in Garage.

Went out to fit them there now but I cant seem to find a way for them to fit in properly!

Seems they should slip up into the rubber, but its not tight enough, doesnt feel far enough up in an the end down by the wingmirror seems weird?

Any gen or will I need a picture!?

They of the same car as yours ie 3 or 5 door?

Yep, 3dr astra.

Only possible difference is his *might* have been phase 1, mines phase 2.

Fits on ok but doesnt sit up in right an unsure.

I was gonna bond it on but then if its wrong im fooked

On the car. Fits in ok and that but doesnt feel secure





This bit is covered by the mirror but seems to be catching on rubber when window winded up



Is there a simple way of puttin it on I cant see?
