    colour coding help??

ok as ive said before im taking the nasty lines from the bumper tops and down the doors and colour coding the handles too but all these parts have a grain to them, what could i use to make these areas smooth to get a better finsh when painted?i thought of using the resin from a fibreglass kit to give it a smooth finish!!! Yay or Nay?

What i did on my astra was just sand it down with progressive gardes of sandpaper, then use a plastic filler primer, sand that down smooth, and spray again. It's worked great considering i lost patience half way through!!

I've just been wandering aimlessly around for a few days lmao

Try and get Halfords plastic primer (silver tin iirc), since i've found that it has good filling properties (it's quite thick, like regular filler primer). This was really usefull when trying to get a good smooth surface.

Whatever you do, don't try and use a dremmel to "speed up the process""!! I tried this and it just burns dents in the plastic lmao

    Get some before/after pics up
