Undo the screws/bolts on the arch side and under the front lip, and then gently manouver it forwards off it's rail guides.

At least I think that's right, it's been a while since I did one!! lmao

No, where the bumper meets the arch, there are some screws iirc.

There are two bolts too. Either side. 13mm and quite a bugger to get too.

remove o/s head light first bolt is under it on the panael under the air box. other one is accessed by going underneath the n/s and is behind the headlight again. bot are 13mm. both arch liners need to be detached from the bumper. screw or plastic rivet at top of bumper and a screw further down at the bottom. other than that not to hard unless your washer bottle in behind the bumper in which case that needs to come out as well

lol hiding me? with my reputation? nah been here all along. and removed more cav bumpers than i care to remember. although removing the bumper when the car is balanced on the roof of another and it pissing down, and your on wet muddy bonnet slipping about it's not fun. if you where closer i'd say get the kettle on and i'd have that bumper off double quick

You don't need to take headlights out to take a Cavalier MK3 front bumper off!

Yes to the washer bottle if its a GSi, all other Cavaliers don't have the washer bottle that low down as far as I can remember.

If you look under the front bumper, you will see the two bumper struts going into the front of the car. On the outer side of each strut (i.e. not on the radiator side), you will see a 13mm bolt on each side.

All info reference the wheel arch liner is correct.

It's a V6,it has a different layout to other cavs.

i only want the bumpers off so i can smooth that nasty line they have around the top but i need the bumpers at eye level to get any kind of decent finish and my missus wont hold the car up for me so they gonna have to come off

Ok, didn't realise that, but headlight still doesn't need to come out.

There is a plastic cover behind the spotlight area, remove that, and you have access to the drivers side 13mm bolt.

And yes, correct, as the washer bottle is on the other side, that would have to move to get to the other bolt.

headlights out on o/s side just makes it a touch easier, but p40 then p38 to finsih is the best way. thats how i did it
