Would A Ford Ka Rear Wiper Arm Fit Directly onto the existing spindle of a Mk1 Nova 1.4 sr Rear Wiper Fitting?

IMO if fitting to a Nova your better off with a MK4 Fiesta arm as opposed to a Ka one...The Ka tends to sit at angle while Fiesta is straight

If you have a sopiler you will need a Ka balde, which is shorter, on a Fiesta arm so that it doesn't catch on your spoiler..

The Fiesta (and Ka) will fit directly on but need some adjustment to make them work

The problem is that the Fiesta 'eye' is wider than the Nova spindle therfore the spindle will spin but wont grab the eye and the wiper wont work...what you need to do is find a way of attaching the spindle to the eye..its possible to weld it on and I have also heard of complete Fiesta motor's being wired in to replace the Nova unit

I just left mine non functional as I never use the rear wiper anyway

Seen Novas with clio and vw rears with the water jet in the spindle. neat
