Nice and flexible so it doesnt wreck bumper mounts when you hit speed humps!

Looking good on yours tho.I see you got the non vented one.

The splitter on my Nova is off a Seat Toledo. Just have to go into the parts dept. of your local Seat dealer and go through their computer system with them!

I think they're about £15 now, but the prices keep rising. Not ridiculous tho

Thanks for your opinions! I wasnt sure about it at first, but its very sublte and quite different (for the time being, hmmph).

seat/golf splitters look so sweet on the nova..Jay thats does look damn good!

Although, (deperately trying not to sound like my dad)....it depends how much you use the car...If you want to use the car for everyday use and vaguely normal driving its really not worth the hassle of having a splitter that low.

Ok, so I was stupid attempting to go into a warwick uni carpark with a VR6 splitter on(CRUUUUNNNNNCCCHHHHH... .CRAAAAACKKKKK...SCRAAAAAAPPPEEEE!), but I reattached it and found that it limits you so much, even small kerbs into my drive were too low.

If only splitters didnt look really sweet! my mission in life is to work out a quick release/reattchment device, so i can take it off if i need to without damaging it!

Think i'll go a put my slippers on a grumble at the TV.

VR6 on the front? I broke mine big time, anyidea how much they are?

I would post a pic of mine, but geocites seem to have shut down my site for maintenance.

    lmao
Vw want £45 for each half for the VR6 jobby....
£90 for a bit of plastic? erm no.... lmao

mine low, and getting lower..... will be about1 cm off the road soon (ony a few inches as it is)
it is an everyday car tho, but as golf splitter is flexible and bends doesnt really matter too much.

Ill get some better pics at western meet tomorrow of splitters.

Surprisingly enough, no. it looks very wide off the car but seems to be very flexible.

I dont have the part numbers I'm afraid, was lucky to even get that one - was a case of goin to the seat parts desk and scanning thru their computer system with the assistant.

    Good luck!

Trimmed of course, as with any other seat splitter, but only at each end.

And yes just walk into any seat dealer, find the parts department and tell them you're after a specific Toledo front valance, and then look through their computer system with the guy!

I really like that mate - looks sweet. As somebody else said it matches the grill.

Still havn't decided whether I like it set back or right at the edge of the bumper tho. Looks good either way mind.

Point taken Simps, if I were to do it again I would definetly set it further forward.

Good start though, I wasnt sure it would suit the car at all Thanks for all your feedback everyone! Much appreciated.

Should I get it set forward in time for Billing? The priority on the car at the moment is the new engine tho: My new 1.4 8v engine with Twin 40s!

Keep it how it is tho coz it looks different to the others.
