mk3 astra colour coded handles gen plz

Right i'm lookin @ colour codin the exterior handles need some gen plz

Are Vectra 1's the only 1's that fit?

I need 2 keep the lock mechinism's so do i keep the existin 1's?

Also roughly how much am i lookin @ 4 new GM bits?

any help is gratefully recieved

Veccy door handles from the main dealer are about twenty pound each plus vat

i got my 4 vectra handles and kept the drivers key from here http://www.covercars.co.uk/ they cost £40 delivered and may have your colour already in stock.

Soz Lee, but they don't stock veccy handles anymore!!

Blippi, why don't you just colour-code your existing handles?? Very easy to get them off, spray them....back on they go!!

P.S. If you get veccy handles without the backing plate, you'll have to grill a small hole in your existing backing plate!!

If i was 2 colour code the existin black plastic wats the best way 2 go bout it? cos i want a perfect finish

Rub them slightly with some kinda sandpaper, spray on some plastic primer.......then spray some good quality paint onto the handles, then lacquer them (I think that bit is optional though!!)

It's not a hard job, saves you £40 odd getting veccy handles then having to colour them!!

not just Vectra ones fit... you could spray your original Astra ones or get some Cav ones... dead easy to do... have you got a breakers near you?

pop down - mite be worth it... around here they only charge £10 for the pair...

People like Veccy ones because they are slightly different, but with EVERYONE liking them - they become too common!
