    Looks nice m8, very clean.

If I were to do something to it, I would replace the front bumper for a GSi item, then big mouth it.

You already have bucket seats?? If so then remove the rear seats, they are a waste of space and taking them out will save you a bit of weight. Then get a roll cage and an ICE install in there.

oh and get some GTE/GSi side skirts.

Thats about it, after that concentrate on a big engine conversion (if you can afford it). But even a 1.4SRi or 1.6 GTE/GSi conversion will give you a lot more power.

    thanx for the reply's!!!

as im a poor student tryin to save for what i want to do to the bodywork and engine is takin ages, specially after paying my insurance.........

i definatly want to de-lock it, get the rear arches done, side skirts probably nova dose, only cos they are quite deep and make the car look lower, with regards the engine, i wanted a corsa GSi lump but i just cannot afford the insurance, no insurance companies will insure me on anything over a 1.3! if they dop insure me on a 1.3 or over its about £1500! im 19 with 6 points(going through a stop sign ) and one years no claims.

i really want to take the back seats out but not sure about how to keep my stereo(not sure of my ability to make a false floor etc.!) I REALLY want a roll cage, anyone know where i can get one for a decent price????

ill be at billing and i have a nice and loud alarm now! so when someone cuts my window rubber again hopefully youll wake up!

    Corsa GSI lump?

Hmm, i dont think it is worth it, all of the corsa Engine's seem to be really slow compared to the nova's i think the nova 1.4 is quicker than the corsa 1.4 anyway

i think the chrom re-badging looks ace.......slightly biased due to me half way through doing it to mine!!!

i got a chrome VAUXHALL and a griffin all for about £10, now waiting to get the ones to make up NOVA....makes a massive visual improvement to the rear....

the movano badges are massive, shame really cos that'd be far cheaper/easier for all the nova owners out there to use, heard of a company that specialise in selling chrome/gold/carbon lettering but cant find a website or anything for them...anyone got any ideas???

    You mean like this?

You try cutting and shutting "VECTRA" and making all the little joining pieces look OEM, it surely aint gonna happen!

I know you're gonna ask me exactly what I did there, but I honestly can't remember! I do know that I definetly did use two different badges but not VECTRA, and yeh it only cost a couple of quid and no it doesnt look big and stupid! It was some time ago now.

I might debadge the back completely one day, when I get bored, but my argument is that if you go too far with debadging the car looks too plain. Plus the SR badge gives away that its a 1.4 to those in the know, and its gonna be a shifter soon!

same problem with badging for me...only thing is I dont really like the crome letters because they're too small...there must be a car with the right size chrome letters somewhere!!!!!!

all i really want is a 1.4 sticker to match the silver SR sticker instead of the horrible std letters!

seriously considering GSi lump now..liverpool-victoria rock my world! I got a quote of £579 std, and £593 with GSI engine!!!

    I love exclamation marks!!!!!!!!!

I cut off the joining pieces on mine- didnt like them.

    Hmm
cant really see too clearly in this pic.

    Anorak moment:

That badge is made up from:
ON from Frontera badges turned upside down
    and:
    VA from vauxhall badge.

    How do i know this?
Because the V in the Vauxhall badge is different to the V from the Vectra badge ( i know this because i bought the wrong one myself....)

Already done it mate, those pics are old - also got buckets in there now

Adz: 40's are one mate, as are the numnerous other engine mods. Running it in on the single Weber for now, but after 500 miles look out for a 1.4SR 120bhp monster!
