    Lite weight panels for Nova

Has anyone come across standard light weight (glass / carbon fibre) panels ie wings and doors for a Nova? I've found fibreglass bonnets and hatches but i've drawn a blank on the others, any help?

Do a search on here for carbon fibre doors. Lee303 has some. The molds (IIRC) where used by rally nuts, then someone bought them and couldn't be bothered to make any (and really should sell them to someone who would).

shame he types like a 12year old girl though lol.

dont forget that qith GRP/CF doors you REALLY should have door bars... so the overall weight loss is marginal but hey ho

Agree if you are comparinig it to a normal road car driven by girls.
But any person using a nova properly (ie track days etc) should have a roll cage with door bars anyway. So there is a weight saving against what the car 'should' weigh when used properly.

    lmao

Aye i've got door bars already so i would be a good drop in the overall weight for me.

ive been reliably informed by a chap who used to rally that GRP is a little "better" than CF for competion use as the grp will bend and pop back to shape when you hudge trees etc whereas the CF would shatter lol. but again on track thats no biggie
