Astra mark 5 steering wheel onto a cally T

Righty then Iv just bought a new shape astra steering wheel with the multi function controls on but as Iv not received it yet I wondering if it will just fit on or need moding as the same with the air bag plug. Any ideas?

If the spline is the same as the astra 4 it just won't fit. I had to get a Vectra wheel which does. Has the steering controls, but not yet got them working.

Mutli controls probably won't work but if you can find a wiring diagram im sure you could propably come up with some way of bodging it.

There is a wiring diagram for the vectra wheel to a cally on cavweb. Check the splines though. I still have an Astra 4 wheel that I bought, and need to sell on.

I don't know about the 5. If the splines are not the same as yours, you'll need to weld the cally spline in.

I would think the only one with a mark 5. I have heard of a mark 4 being fitted which must have been welded.

Vauxhall may be able to tell you if it is the same as the mark 4. Quite possibly.
