    Gear Knob !!! Annoyin As Hell

    Could Some1 Please Tell Me How To Get The Gear Knob Off My 99 Corsa I Have Ended Up Just Ripping The Leather/plastic Bit Off The Outside And It Will Not Budge!! I Have Tried Everything - Twisting, Pulling, Warm Water, Screw Driver You Get The Idea. All I Can Say Is That I Can See A Spring Under The Knob Bit When I Attack It With A Screw Driver? Please Would Some 1 Give Me Some Advice Please

    Cut the plastic bit with a baby hacksaw but be careful/ or a pair of pipe pliers and carefully twist it off. But be careful you don't want to brake the lever, its only made of plastic..
