My cav gsi is the same colour.
Some places call it Bordeuax Red Metalic
Some places call it Henna Red Metalic
Its metalic, not pearlescent
You will probably have to get this paint mixed especially as its not a standard colour. Other lower spec cavaliers may look the same metalic burgundy colour but they are'nt, i noticed this comparing haynzees's v6 cav and my own, the colour is diiferent even though its also metalic burgundy.

Your best bet is to get the paint code off the car and ring your local vauxhall parts dept. They will be able to tell you what colour it is.
I'll probably get shouted at for saying this but I reckon Rovers have some of the nicest metallic paint I have ever seen!
CHAMELEON
All hail McChameleon! Thane of Cavalier!
all paint is mixed specially, it's mixed to a code - paint is not kept in it's "colour" form but in base colours. You will probably have to get this paint mixed especially![]()
Does anyone still remember me?
Bordeux Red is a standard colour!
ive also seen it on phase 2 mk3 astras aswel
I meant mixed at a automotive paint mixers, not just bought off the shelf from Halfords in a can or touch up brush.all paint is mixed specially, it's mixed to a code - paint is not kept in it's "colour" form but in base colours.
Cavalier GSi metalic red is Henna Red code 73L
How about one of those chip repair companies like "CHIPS AWAY" to come out to you?
