Colour Code Position

Where on an astra mk3 1998 "R" would you find the colour code?......
the guys says that in the shop the code 4 my car should start 19.... but on the Identification plate the aren't 19.... numbers!

any ideas? Cheers

copy the numbers from the information plate to the l/hand side of bonnet catch hole
on slam panel(where bonnet comes down) take to vx dealer they will tell you colour
tip
place soft plain paper over plate and rub with black pencil
