18's on mk3 astra

hey all just a quick question 18's on a mk3 astra with 215/35/18 tyres will these rub the archs with the car lowered 40mm?

mine rub all the time, rears the alloy scrapes, and the front rub on the lip on the arch, till i get em rolled

Had 18's on my old mk3 with 215/35/18 tyres and it was lowered 60mm , didn't rub but the wheels were 7.5X18 et45. Check to see what the offset is on them first!

depends what offset the wheels are mate, ive got 215 35 19's and they rub abit even after some arch work but its low low! would have thoght 18's on a sensible drop with the right offset would be fine.

defo depends on the offset of the wheel.. i has 215/35/18's on a 60-70mm drop

Looks sweet, are they 7.5x19 on that? After having 18's on my old mk3 i put 7.5x19 215/35/19 et 45 on and only needed to to slightly modify the rear arches to stop them rubbing

found out the rub cause my front tracking is out

Just get your tracking sorted and it should be fine

Got 215 35 18 on mine with 60mm drop but the wheels are et45 18x8.5!
