Thread: mark 3 dash into mark 2

    mark 3 dash into mark 2

    i have put a mark 3 astra dash hash into a mark 2 astra have it all lined up and mounting bolt holes sorted the only problem is the mark 3 dash seems to be wider than mark 2 and i cant get steering column surround to line up do mark 3 have a longer steering column if so would it fit or is there any other solution
    any help would be appreciated
    also is there any other problems i should look out for

    have you taken off the top metal part o fthe old dash support?

    that wasv one of the first things i took off but the the ignition seems to be sitting to far back towards the bulk head fon the cowling to fit

    got it sorted iput a cavalier steering column in instead of the astra one and everything lines up alright

    Is yours the Adjustable column?

    I used the MK2 Cowling and it all fits fine.

    sorry for the delay in replying
    no mine was the fixed column but the cav column seems to fit perfect so far
    probably some othert problem will appear later known my luck
    hopefully not
