    window tinting

    does any bosy no any one that can come to your house and tint your windows in the bristol area?

    dont do it...i was watching in a program that it is easier for thiefs to get into the car because the tint film holds onto the glass so it doenst shatter it everywhere, and it doesnt make noise when you do it either

    yh ive herd of this beofre but the car doesnt get parked ne where where it can get broken into and is in a lock up over night dont drive the car that often but just want the windows done but prefur if they came to me and done it

    I don't know aboout your area but a few thinkgs to think about

    Advantages of tinting

    1> glass shatering: a spate of attacks on cars where spark plugs are thrown at a window whilst someone is in the car, to either nik/harm/injure

    2> obsures view of what is in the car

    3> stone/accidental damage (as in point 1)

    4> there is a company called "pentagon" who do a vandal resistant film which stops smash and grabs, they are in Watford though

    my preferance is for tinting, plus it looks good

    Completely different to what i was shown, and told when i had my security window tints fitted. The film acts as a security shield, and hinders entry rather than assist entry. This may not be the case with DIY film, but is the case with professionally fitted security tinting film.

    oh ok...i didnt see all the program so i think what im refering to might be the stuff that you can get from halfrauds
