MR2 Veilside copy kit fitting Part 1 - Sideskirts

Not a vauxhall i know but i thought i'd show you. Most of you will think i'm daft for fitting it but it will look good once its all done. Well this morning i started on fitting the sideskirts that i got with my kit. The kit is based on the veilside kit but allot cheaper.

    Heres some pics:

See the big gap where the sideskirt meets the body! That will be sorted though.

And another gap where the sideskirt meets the black strip!

So overall there a very bad fit! But i will sort them out, i work in a bodyshop so shudn't be a problem really

Just thought i'd share it with you. I'll keep you posted on how i do

Yeah the hole in the sideskirts is as big as the hole behind so theres loads of air going in.

erm, those vents go to the engine, one to the air filrter and the other to the intercooler on the turbo model,

the kits not my taste you should of gone for a border style kit

    *is stunned into silence*

The first time i have ever seen a vent on a bodykit actually being useful.

*goes off for a stiff drink*

I was going to get that kit but this one was cheaper so i got this one. Plus i like the style of this one. I know its getting abit common now but there isn't many cars round here with that style of kit on so it will be abit of a one off round here.
